 Straight off a postcard, Jericho, Vermont is home to the Old Red Mill, an icon of Vermont life and now a National Historic Site. Today, the building houses the Jericho Historical Society, museum, and craft shop. Perhaps equally representative of times long past, a large town green at Jericho Center still plays host to a variety of events throughout the year.
Jericho is also home to Mill’s Riverside Park, located on Route 15, where visitors are rewarded with a stunning view of Mount Mansfield. The Town of Jericho website (www.jerichovt.gov) describes the scene by saying, "Mount Mansfield dominates the scene and reminds us of where we live, not in suburbia, but in villages defined by open land."
