Custom Metal Casting

For some projects, casting a part in metal is the solution. If you’re looking to execute a design with intricate interior shapes or tight tolerances, casting may be the answer.

We’ve cast vintage era carbeurators, custom build badges for auto shops, and even jewelry — we can probably help with your custom casting project as well.

Our Process

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines.

    Ideas to Design

First, we take your ideas and turn them into a CAD design that will serve as the foundation for the mold.

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and half circle lines.

    3D Resin Printing

Next, we use our 3d printer to produce a wax model of your finished part. This piece will be burned out of the mold in preparation for casting.

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and circle lines.

    The Pour

With great care, molten metal is poured into the mold and placed within a vacuum chamber. The cast part is released from the mold and sent to the next step.

    Quality Assurance and Finishing

With a keen eye to detail, we inspect the final piece to ensure that it meets our standards.
